Acclimating- It's hard

Adjusting to the schedule

Medications begin and you start with chemotherapy. That can be a trial, especially if you are not hydrated or any number of things.

I came in with six others. Two of these had seizures and other complications.

There is the whole thing with acclimating to drinking two liters of water everyday.

All of the tests are a joy. Blood Panels, Breathing tests, MRI-Brain, cervical, Thoracic Spine, and Lumbar all of which can be done at the Hospital in Puebla.

I am hearing all of these horror stories of healthcare in other countries. The US seems to have some things right as far as being able to access some tests. Or maybe I am just lucky to be where I am. To have the resources I have. That certainly does not knock out the red tape that has to be navigated. But there will always be things to complain about, if you go looking.

Tomorrow I get a Picc line implanted. There are nerves and restlessness has set in my bones.

But I keep repeating to myself that it is part of the process.

It is part of the process

I am not sure if I have yet to meet a person who is such an optimist but with both feet planted firmly on the ground. You have entered this process with both eyes wide open. Seeing and weighing all of the possibilities and choosing to be fearless! May your heart and soul be filled with peace and joy in the midst of it all!
